Bienvenue/Welcome to grade 1 Hitchman! I am so excited to meet all your kiddos next week! I will be calling home on Friday just to touch base with parents and to find out how students are getting home on Tuesday, incase bussing has changed.
It is my goal to ensure that your child has great success in this class. If you have any concerns or questions throughout the year, please do not hesitate to contact me at school or by email. My main form of communication is in the agendas. If I have a question or comment, I will leave it in the agenda so please check them daily and initial. At times, I may call just to do a check-in or to let you know how their day was.
I understand that not all days are lovely, and I would like to provide additional support at school when possible. I understand that details are not always to be shared and that is okay. If your child is coming to school after a difficult night, morning, or weekend for whatever reason, you can make note in the agenda “handle with care”. This will let me know that your child may need extra time, patience, help or just a little more care during that day. As always, we are a team, and I want to help your child thrive in school!
