It wasn’t on the supply list but I’d like students to have a courier bag. They are $1.50 at the Dollar store. A jumbo freezer bag also works. This really helps with organization.
Yes, 7/8M have a picture book they need to read, it’s part of a fun and engaging start-of-year activity designed to ease them back into reading. The goal is to spark discussion and enjoyment while also laying the groundwork for main idea comprehension work later on.
